Most of my cats have understood when I was depressed

 Most of my cats have understood when I was depressed, and acted concerned. My present cat, Sparky, gets alarmed when I feel sad or disturbed. She then comes up and cuddles with me, which makes me feel better. I used to have a cat named Lanky. When I was depressed, I would sit on the floor and lean on the wall. Lanky would come over and circle around me slowly, meowing softly. It was easy to see that he wanted to comfort me, and he did.
