When I adopted Lisa she was pregnant.

 When I adopted Lisa she was pregnant. I didn’t know it at the time, But she chose me, and I loved her at first sight. So she came home with me. And presented me with 9 kittens. One was born dead, a poor thing. But when she had the first kitten, she set it by my feet. Looking up at me like “here, you take care of this, I have things to do.” That little guy got named Wesley, sometimes John Wesley. Most of the others got named later, when they developed characters. I won’t go through all the names of my little family. Because I might write about them sometime in the future.
